Rashid Khan, Afghanistan’s star cricketer, has been appointed as a new member of the World Cricketers’ Association players’ advisory committee. The organization said the move aims to strengthen players’ roles in global cricket decision-making. Alongside Rashid Khan, Chamari Athapaththu of Sri Lanka and Wayne Madsen of Italy have also joined the panel. Daryl Mitchell and Maddy Green have replaced Tim Southee and Sophie Devine in the updated lineup, which includes several prominent international players. Rashid Khan said the role is an important opportunity to represent Afghan players and contribute to the growth of cricket worldwide.
