Meanwhile, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps previously announced that a second fighter jet had been shot down since what it termed “U.S. and Israeli attacks.” Earlier reports from Tasnim News Agency suggested the possibility of one pilot being detained, and later reports mentioned a bounty being offered for his capture, though these accounts are inconsistent with previous narratives. Details about the type of aircraft and number of crew members remain unclear. Some sources have referred to a single-seat F-35, while others mention an F-15, which in some variants carries two crew members.
