TEHRAN: The Islamic Republic of Iran News TV Network, reported that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and members of his family were killed in Saturday morning’s attack. Following the report, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council announced that the country’s armed forces are prepared to deliver a decisive response to any aggression, adding that further details are under review. The public relations office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated: “The most intense offensive operation in the history of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will begin shortly toward Israel and American bases.” The Iranian cabinet declared 40 days of national mourning and seven days of public holiday across Iran.
