MAIMANA: A member of local uprising forces, Sebghatullah, has been found brutally killed and dismembered, local officials said. According to local sources, he was a resident of the “Karkari” village in the Bandar district of Faryab, and his body was discovered on the outskirts of the third district of Maimana city. The sources revealed that unidentified individuals had killed this member of the local uprising forces horrifically. So far, the perpetrators and the motive behind this incident remain unclear. Reports indicate that the security situation has deteriorated in several provinces of the country in recent months, with daily occurrences of mysterious murders. Just yesterday, the bodies of three women were discovered in Spin Boldak, Kandahar, showing signs of brutal killings. In recent weeks, unidentified armed men have also killed several young individuals in Herat. While the Taliban claim that security is maintained across Afghanistan, residents are increasingly convinced that they lack the capacity to manage the country’s security situation, which is becoming more tense day by day.
