KABUL: The World Bank announced that job creation is the most critical outcome of sustainable development and is key to reducing poverty, creating hope, dignity, and a better future for people. The Bank stated that its projects will now be directly linked to creating job opportunities. It added that generating jobs requires investment in infrastructure, creating a conducive environment for business, and attracting private capital. The World Bank works with governments to identify high-growth sectors and implement reforms that increase investment and job creation. Additionally, the World Bank has warned that approximately 1.2 billion young people will enter the labor market over the next ten years, leading the world to face an unprecedented need for jobs.
