According to Reuters, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated during a press conference in Istanbul on Thursday that his country will not tolerate the potential use of violence against Iran. He added that Ankara will continue its diplomatic efforts, prioritizing the prevention of instability. Fidan expressed hope that the U.S. and Iran could resolve the matter, either through mediators and influential parties or through direct dialogue. He noted that Turkey is closely monitoring these developments. Meanwhile, an American official and several knowledgeable sources indicated that Trump has instructed his national security team that any potential military action against Iran should be “swift and decisive,” aiming to avoid a prolonged conflict lasting weeks or months.
