A three-day limited ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine has been implemented as diplomatic efforts continue to reduce the fighting and revive peace talks.
As part of the diplomatic push, US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow to discuss efforts to end the war.
Witkoff and Kushner are expected to travel to Kyiv to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as part of the renewed US-led mediation efforts.
The latest US-mediated diplomatic efforts come after negotiations between Russia and Ukraine stalled earlier this year.
