Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and army chief General Asim Munir have visited Balochistan following a series of recent attacks in the province. Speaking at a security meeting in Balochistan, Mr Sharif alleged that militant groups were using Afghan territory to carry out attacks against Pakistan. He also accused India of supporting what he described as “terrorism” and said Islamabad would continue its security operations. The Taliban and India have repeatedly rejected Pakistan’s allegations.
