The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that the security, sovereignty, and safety of the country’s citizens and residents are a “red line” and that any violation of them is unacceptable, in response to what it described as an Iranian attack on Kuwait International Airport. In a statement, the ministry said repeated attacks and what it called “aggressions against Kuwait” reflect an organized hostile policy, which the Kuwaiti government neither accepts nor will tolerate. The ministry also said Kuwait reserves its full right to take appropriate and lawful measures in response to what it described as “repeated and unjustified Iranian aggressions.”
