Volodymyr Zelenskyy said peace efforts in Ukraine should not be postponed due to the Iran conflict. In remarks to CNN, he stated he is ready for a ceasefire with Russia but warned that progress is unlikely soon as U.S. focus shifts toward Iran and the Middle East. He added that overlapping U.S. negotiation teams and unresolved tensions involving Iran are slowing Ukraine peace talks, while military aid—especially air defense systems—remains insufficient.
