TEHRAN: Hossein Jamshidi, the governor district of Taybad in Iran’s Razavi Khorasan, has reported that from the beginning of this year until the end of the month goods worth $1,605,748,192 have been transited to Afghanistan through the Dogharoun border. According to him, over the first four months of this year, goods valued at more than $284 million have been exported to Afghanistan. As reported by Iranian media, Jamshidi stated: “In the first four months of this year, 529,014 tons of goods worth $284,296,478 were exported to Afghanistan via Dogharoun.” The goods were exported from the Dogharoun border market to Afghanistan. He added that construction materials, food items, fruits, and petroleum products are among the key exports from Iran. He also announced that from the beginning of this year until the end of July, the volume of goods transited from Afghanistan to Dogharoun was 24,725 tons, valued at approximately $64,231,855.
