The withdrawal of US troops and military equipment from Iraq is continuing, with a convoy of US military equipment reportedly seen travelling from Iraq’s Kurdistan region towards Jordan.

According to reports, Iraqi civilians photographed the convoy as it travelled from the Kurdistan region towards Jordan.

The United States is expected to withdraw its remaining forces from Iraq by 30 September, bringing its 23-year military presence in the country to an end.

The withdrawal of US troops and equipment has already begun, with the remaining personnel and military equipment expected to be moved out of Iraq.
