Iran’s military says it has carried out fresh strikes against US military facilities in Kuwait and Jordan. In a statement, the military said it targeted the early warning radar system and an assembly area for US forces at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait using missiles and drones. Hossein Mohbi, a spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said the country’s ongoing operations are focused on what he described as “destroying US offensive military infrastructure” across the region. He also warned Washington against assuming the conflict could be turned into a prolonged war of attrition. Separately, Iran’s military said that in the ninth phase of its Sa’eqeh operation, suicide drones struck a fixed radar site, a communications system and fuel storage facilities used by the US military at Azraq Air Base in Jordan. Iran’s claims have not been independently verified, and there has been no immediate comment from the United States or the governments of Kuwait and Jordan.
