Iran has warned it will target “all remaining infrastructure in the region” if the United States carries out threatened attacks on Iranian infrastructure. Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said the warning came after President Donald Trump threatened to bomb Iran’s power plants and bridges unless Tehran returned to negotiations. The US military said its latest strikes targeted Iranian command centres, air defence systems and missile facilities, while Iran said it had attacked US bases in Kuwait and Jordan. Jordan said it intercepted eight Iranian missiles. Zolfaqari also said Iran would not allow any US involvement in the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as Tehran’s “red line”.
