Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has claimed that Afghanistan has become an “Indian proxy” and that India is using Afghan territory against Pakistan.
He said India, which he described as having suffered “defeat and humiliation” in last year’s war with Pakistan, now lacks the ability to fight Pakistan directly and is instead using Afghan territory.
Asif also said that a “decisive phase” had begun and that Pakistan would continue the conflict until it was brought to an end.
