The sources also claim that President Trump has urged Israel to delay any military action while negotiations with Iran are ongoing. The Al-Tahir area, near Nabatieh and north of the Litani River, is considered strategically significant due to its elevated position, offering broad visibility over parts of southern Lebanon and areas close to the Israeli border. The report comes amid continued tensions in southern Lebanon in recent months, despite periods of announced ceasefires and temporary de-escalation agreements. Official figures indicate significant casualties in Lebanon as a result of ongoing hostilities in the region.
