Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, responding to reports of Iran’s missile attack on northern Israel, said that if Israel expands its attacks on Beirut, it will face “more forceful strikes.” In a statement, the headquarters said: “We had previously warned that if attacks on Beirut’s Dahiyeh district were expanded, we would target locations inside Israel.” The commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters also accused Israel of repeatedly violating the ceasefire, saying that the country had expanded its military operations in Lebanon with U.S. backing and amid what he described as the silence of international institutions. The statement further alleged that Israel had used “prohibited weapons, including phosphorus bombs” in its attacks and had committed war crimes. The remarks come amid rising tensions between Iran and Israel following recent exchanges between the two sides, raising concerns about a broader escalation of conflict in the region.
