Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson has said that Tehran has not yet taken a final decision regarding a possible agreement with the United States and will not retreat from its “red lines” in negotiations. Esmaeil Baghaei, quoted by the IRNA news agency, said that reports regarding the time and place of signing any agreement remain speculation and that nothing has been finalised. He added that a significant part of the text of the talks has been finalised, but according to him, the United States has changed its position several times during the negotiations. The remarks come amid growing speculation in recent weeks over the possibility of a new agreement between Tehran and Washington.
