The Israeli army has announced that four soldiers were killed and two others were wounded during clashes with Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon. According to reports, one of the wounded is in critical condition. According to The Times of Israel, three of the killed soldiers were identified as Captain Noam Madmoni from Sderot, Sergeant Ben Cohen from Lehavim, and Sergeant Maxim Antis from Bat Yam. All were serving in the reconnaissance unit of the Nahal Brigade. The name of the fourth soldier will be released later. The Israeli army said the clash occurred when reconnaissance forces from the Nahal Brigade identified a Hezbollah cell in the western sector of southern Lebanon. Close-range gunfire was exchanged between the two sides, and Hezbollah forces used an anti-tank missile, but no additional Israeli casualties were reported. In response, the Israeli army used tanks and airstrikes against Hezbollah forces. These clashes are part of ongoing tensions along the borders between Lebanon and Israeli-controlled territories. Military analysts have warned that continued clashes could lead to further escalation and heavier casualties for Israeli forces.
