Colonel Second Rank Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, has sharply responded to Donald Trump’s comments on a potential deal with Iran, stating, “Do not call your failure a deal.” On Wednesday, 25 March , Zolfaghari rejected the claims made by Trump, asserting that neither the U.S. investments envisioned in the region will materialize nor will the energy and oil markets return to their previous state. He emphasized that the restoration of prior conditions depends entirely on the cessation of any actions against Iran. The spokesperson underlined Tehran’s consistent stance, noting that Iran will not cooperate with the U.S. now or in the future. He also claimed that Iranian forces are pursuing “fleeing U.S. commanders and soldiers” and urged local residents to report their whereabouts. These statements come amid recent speculation about possible shifts in Tehran-Washington relations. While Trump has suggested that Iran may be willing to reach an agreement, Iranian officials continue to reject negotiations under pressure. Overall, the latest remarks reflect Iran’s hardline approach and its firm rejection of any notion of reaching a deal with the United States.
