Improved wheat seeds and fertilizers provided to Ghor farmers by FAO

KABUL: The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has announced the distribution of chemical fertilizers and improved wheat seeds to 5,596 farmers in Ghor province. The organization in a statement stated that this support comes at a time when Afghan farmers are struggling with the consequences of drought, helping them cultivate and provide food for their families. The statement highlights that the seeds and fertilizers were distributed in collaboration with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). In addition to the distribution of wheat seeds and fertilizers, farmers also received necessary training.
