Shocking Events: Decapitated body found in Badghis and child murdered in Paktia

KABUL: Taliban’s local officials in Badghis have reported the discovery of a decapitated body of a man in the province. The Taliban’s provincial command announced on Sunday, that the body was found the previous day in the “Kohna Shabashak” area of the fourth police district. They stated that the individual had been killed with knife wounds, but the motive and perpetrators of this crime remain unclear, and his relatives have not yet been identified. In a separate incident, local sources in Paktia indicate that a 12-year-old child was “brutally” murdered in the Wazi Zadran district. According to sources, the child was killed by a member of the murderer’s family with a “stone” following a dispute with a younger girl from that family. This incident occurred two days ago, but local Taliban officials have yet to comment on it. Mysterious killings continue to plague various provinces in Afghanistan. Just a week ago, two young men were killed in Badghis, and two others were murdered in Herat.
