The office of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Asim Munir, will travel to Switzerland on Sunday to participate in upcoming talks between the United States and Iran. The technical-level talks are scheduled to take place in the Bürgenstock area of Switzerland. The discussions come amid ongoing political and diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions between Washington and Tehran and bringing an end to the conflict. According to reports, US President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, and Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, as well as an Iranian delegation headed by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, had arrived in Switzerland earlier.
