KABUL: The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)of the United Nations, in a post on its account has warned that drought has affected 19 provinces in Afghanistan.

Concerns about drought in Afghanistan are growing day by day.
Experts attribute the situation to the negligence of both the people and the government.
Recently, several social media activists have urged the public to use water cautiously in order to protect the country from drought.
This comes after the Taliban’s Ministry of Water and Energy also reported that water levels have significantly dropped in the cities of Kandahar, Herat, Maidan Wardak, Bamyan, Kabul, and Mazar-e-Sharif.
