KABUL: Matiullah Tarab, a prominent national epic poet, has unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack.
His family and close friends have confirmed his death.

In recent years, he became a notable figure in epic poetry, actively participating in cultural poetry contests, particularly in gatherings controlled by the Taliban.
