KABUL: Ahmad Qurbanov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, met with Paola Pampaloni, Director of the European External Action Service, to discuss the situation in Atghanistan.
The Turkmen Foreign Ministry stated that both sides addressed security and sustainable development in Afghanistan during their meeting.
Qurbanov emphasized that Turkmenistan supports the process of delivering humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.
Additionally, the discussion included major infrastructure projects, such as the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan railway and the development of new energy and transport corridors.
Both Qurbanov and Pampaloni expressed their readiness to continue cooperation on issues of mutual interest between Turkmenistan and the European Union.
It is noteworthy that Turkmenistan has previously assured support for Afghanistan in various areas.
