PUL-E-KHUMRI: The Taliban police command in Baghlan province has reported that three people have died and eight others have been injured in traffic accidents in the Khenjan and Doshi districts.
The first incident occurred in the Gazan area of Khenjan district, where a collision between two vehicles resulted in the deaths of three women, while two children and one man were injured.
In another incident, a Corolla vehicle veered off the road in the Qara Ahmad area of Doshi district, where five of its passengers were injured.
The accidents took place on Tuesday night, and officials have not yet commented on the cause of the incidents.
Following years of conflict in Afghanistan, traffic accidents have emerged as a serious issue, claiming many lives.
