YEMEN: One day after two missile attacks on Israel from Yemen, Israeli forces have conducted airstrikes on the Sanaa Airport in Yemen’s capital.
According to Al-Masirah, a television channel affiliated with the Houthi movement, four strikes targeted the airport, hitting the runway and an aircraft.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that the Israeli Air Force targeted Houthi objectives at the airport, claiming, “Their last remaining aircraft has been destroyed.”
Katz emphasized, “This sends a clear message and continues our policy: anyone who fires at the State of Israel will pay a heavy price.”
Sanaa Airport, considered the largest in Yemen, was recently reopened after temporary repairs and runway restoration following previous Israeli strikes.
