Manzoor Pashteen, leader of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), has accused the Pakistani state of committing atrocities against Pashtuns during a speech at the Hague Dialogue, a conference organised by the International Criminal Law Foundation in the Netherlands.
According to the account shared by the movement, Pakistani diplomat Asif Durrani and Pakistan’s ambassador to the Netherlands objected to Pashteen’s remarks and attempted to disrupt the proceedings before leaving the conference. Their reaction reportedly drew expressions of displeasure from representatives of several countries attending the event.
In response, the PTM said it was ready to face Pakistani officials in a debate at any international forum.
