Axios has reported that J. D. Vance, Vice President of the United States, is expected to travel to Islamabad for potential negotiations with Iran. According to the report, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are also set to join the trip. Meanwhile, a correspondent for Al Arabiya in Islamabad reported that Pakistan has confirmed that an Iranian delegation will arrive in the capital simultaneously with the U.S. delegation. It has also been reported that a U.S. logistical team has been present in Pakistan since the previous day. However, Iran has not officially confirmed its participation in this round of talks. Reports indicate that Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey have urged Tehran to take part in the discussions. These developments come as the potential Islamabad talks, if held, would coincide with the final days of a two-week ceasefire between Iran and the United States.
