Khawaja Asif has deleted a post on X in which he described Israel as a “curse and evil for humanity.” The remarks drew reactions from Israeli officials, who said such statements could affect Pakistan’s role in diplomatic processes and mediation efforts. In his earlier message, Asif had referred to the situation of civilians in Gaza Strip and other areas, stating that civilian casualties continue in those regions. In response, Israel Katz condemned the remarks, calling them inaccurate and provocative. He added that Israel has the right to defend itself against threats and attacks.
