KHOST: The spokesperson for the Taliban governor in Khost, Mustaghfar Garbaz, has reported that 130 individuals were poisoned during a charity event in the Zazi Maidan district of the province. According to Mr. Garbaz, the incident occurred yesterday afternoon in a house related to the charitable event in the Shamsi area. Sources indicate that medical teams from the neighboring districts of Bak and Sabari have arrived at the scene to treat the affected individuals. Mr. Garbaz assured us that the health conditions of all patients were stable and that investigations into the incident had begun. Local authorities in Khost noted that a similar incident had previously occurred in the Alghadi village of the same district, where it was later determined that spoiled food had been left in water overnight. It is worth mentioning that prior poisoning incidents have also occurred in several provinces, including the capital, Kabul, with some cases involving school students.
