GAZA: The Hamas movement has announced its approval of a new ceasefire plan in Gaza. This proposal, presented by regional mediators, includes the release of hostages and a suspension of military operations for a period of sixty days. A Palestinian official stated that this two-phase proposal is based on a framework previously presented by Steve Witkoff, the special representative of Donald Trump. The Hamas delegation in Egypt responded positively to the Egyptian and Qatari mediators without requesting any changes or additional demands. According to the plan, in addition to the release of ten Israeli captives, several Palestinian prisoners will also be freed. Israel will withdraw some of its forces from Gaza, humanitarian aid will be sent to the people of Gaza, and discussions for a permanent resolution to the conflict will continue. The agreement was announced following one of the largest gatherings in Tel Aviv since the onset of the Gaza war, where hundreds of thousands of Israelis participated, emphasizing the urgent need to end the conflict and bring back the hostages.
