GAZA: Hamas spokesperson and member of the leadership council, Hussam Badran, emphasized that they will never accept a ceasefire that binds the freedom and resistance of the Palestinian people in chains. He stated that the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves against Zionist occupation is legitimate and that they will not leave the battlefield until Palestine is free and the siege on Gaza is lifted. He added that any agreement that resembles slavery or a humiliating ceasefire would be an insult to the blood and sacrifices of the Palestinian people. Badran’s remarks came after the third round of Hamas-Israel talks in Doha ended without any results. He responded to former President Trump’s accusations that Hamas does not want peace, asserting that Trump is merely a defender of the Zionist regime. Badran reiterated that Hamas seeks a lasting ceasefire that ensures the sacrifices of the Palestinian people are honored.
