MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that Iran has not made any military requests from Moscow in its conflict with Israel.
He emphasized that the military equipment provided to Tehran is unrelated to the war between Iran and Israel
Speaking at a press conference in St.
Petersburg, Putin noted that Iran has not sought any military or arms assistance from Russia amid the recent tensions and clashes with Israel.
In response to a question about whether Russia supports Iran in the conflict by supplying advanced weapons, he clarified: “The military agreement from last year between Iran and Russia did not include the delivery of advanced weapons or specific equipment.”
The remarks come as Russia has utilized Iranian
“Shahed” drones in multiple attacks during its ongoing operations in Ukraine over the past three years.
