MUNICH: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) clinched their first UEFA Champions League title for the 2024-2025 season with a decisive 5-0 victory over Inter Milan.
The match took place at the Allianz Arena in Munich, where the French representatives delivered a dominant performance to secure the trophy.
The goals for PSG were scored by Achraf Hakimi (12th minute), Désiré Doué (20th and 63rd minutes), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (73rd minute), and Sonny Milano (87th minute). Despite their rich history and experience, Inter Milan struggled to make an impact against the young and cohesive PSG squad.
Iranian star Mehdi Taremi, playing for Inter, did not get the chance to enter the game and remained on the bench.
He is the second Iranian player to reach the Champions League final, following Ali Daei, yet again misses out on lifting the trophy.
