U.S. Vice President JD Vance has warned Iran that it would face a “strong response” from Washington if it continues its attacks. The warning came after the U.S. military said it had targeted several sites inside Iran in response to an Iranian attack on a cargo vessel. Vance said: “Iran signed the ceasefire agreement, and we have adhered to it as well. If they have disagreements or concerns regarding the implementation of this memorandum of understanding, they can contact us through diplomatic channels. But any act of violence will be met with a reciprocal response.” The U.S. vice president was referring to the ceasefire agreement signed with the aim of ending nearly four months of fighting between the two sides.
