French President Emmanuel Macron has said that the leaders of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates will be invited to attend next week’s Group of Seven (G7) summit in France. He stated that the meeting will focus in particular on efforts to reduce tensions with the Islamic Republic of Iran and on reviewing the security situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
