Reuters and French media, citing a knowledgeable source, report that Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, and Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, have made an unexpected visit to Doha. According to the reports, the purpose of the visit is talks with the Prime Minister of Qatar, with discussions focusing on key issues including the “Strait of Hormuz” and Iran’s “enriched uranium stockpiles.” Meanwhile, Iranian media had previously reported that Abdolnaser Hemmati, Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, also travelled to Qatar to review the process of unfreezing blocked assets and as part of the economic committee of negotiations.
