Donald Trump has claimed that Iran confirmed the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for shipping traffic. Posting on Truth Social, Trump said the key maritime route is now open for vessel transit. However, Iranian official Abbas Araghchi ранее stated on X that, under the Lebanon ceasefire framework, commercial ships are allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz along designated routes until the end of the truce. He added that these routes were previously defined by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization, and ship movements are being coordinated accordingly.
