Dozens of Afghan Migrants Released from Pakistani Prisons

The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation of the Taliban has announced the release of 82 Afghan migrants from prisons in Pakistan. In a statement issued on Thursday, the ministry said the individuals returned to Afghanistan via the Spin Boldak crossing. According to Taliban officials, the migrants had been detained due to a lack of legal documentation. The process of deporting Afghan migrants from Pakistan and Iran is ongoing. In recent days, Pakistani police have reportedly also increased pressure on migrants who possess legal documents.
