Afghanistan U-17 National Football Team Travels to Uzbekistan for CAFA Championship

Afghanistan’s national under-17 football team has departed for Uzbekistan to participate in the CAFA Asian Championship tournament. The Afghanistan Football Federation wrote on its Facebook page that the country’s U-17 national team left this morning for Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to take part in the 2026 CAFA Asian Championship. The tournament will be held among the teams of Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. The Afghan team is scheduled to play its first match in the tournament against Kyrgyzstan on April 6.
