Heavy Rains Destroy Over 300 Homes in Helmand Province

Heavy rainfall since yesterday has completely destroyed more than 300 residential houses in Helmand province. The media office of the Taliban’s provincial police command in Helmand said the financial losses occurred in the districts of Garmsir, Sangin, and Nad Ali. It is worth noting that dozens of people have died in recent days due to continuous rainfall and flooding. The Taliban’s disaster management authority reported that over the past two days of rainfall in Afghanistan, six people have died and seven others have been injured.
