Proposed US-Iran Deal Terms Reported by Israeli Media

An Israeli media outlet, Channel 12, has published what it claims are the proposed terms of a possible agreement between the United States and Iran.

According to the report, the proposed agreement would:

  • Dismantle and separate Iran’s current nuclear capabilities.
  • Ban uranium enrichment inside Iranian territory.
  • Transfer Iran’s enriched uranium to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
  • Close nuclear facilities in Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow.
  • Give the IAEA full access to Iran’s nuclear information.
  • Halt the use of proxy forces in the region.
  • Stop funding and arming of militia groups.
  • Keep the Strait of Hormuz open without restrictions.
  • Postpone decisions on Iran’s ballistic missile programme.
  • Limit missile use to defensive purposes only.
  • Lift all sanctions imposed on Iran.
  • Support Iran’s peaceful nuclear programme at the Bushehr
    Nuclear Power Plant.
  • Remove the threat of automatic reimposition of sanctions.

These details have not yet been officially confirmed by authorities in Tehran or Washington.
