Local sources in Imam Sahib District of Kunduz Province say a female citizen of Tajikistan has been killed by unidentified individuals in the district. According to the sources, the woman, who worked as a midwife and nurse providing medical care for women, was killed on March 13 in the center of Imam Sahib District. Sources identified the victim as Adolat Hamidi. Her body has reportedly been transferred to Tajikistan for funeral ceremonies. Local sources say Hamidi had spent years providing healthcare services and childbirth assistance to rural and low-income women, earning significant respect and popularity among residents of the area. The motive behind the killing remains unclear. Authorities of the Taliban in Kunduz have not yet commented on the incident.
