Former Hamid Karzai has strongly condemned the Pakistani airstrikes overnight on Kabul, Kandahar Province, Paktia Province, and Paktika Province, which reportedly killed civilians, including women and children. Karzai wrote on his Facebook page on Friday that the attacks represent a clear violation of neighborly relations, humanitarian values, and international law. He once again called on the Pakistan government to end hostilities, adopt forward-looking policies, and pursue constructive and civilized relations with Afghanistan. Officials from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said the overnight strikes targeted Kabul, Kandahar, Paktia, Paktika, and other areas, leaving at least four civilians dead and 15 others injured.
