JALALABAD: In Nangarhar province, a mother has given birth to quadruplets at the Beebee Fatima al-Zahra Provincial Hospital. According to a statement from the media office of Nangarhar, the newborns include three boys and one girl, all of whom are reported to be in good health. Such births are considered rare and require special attention from healthcare professionals. The Taliban’s Provincial Public Health Directorate, in Nangarhar, stated that the mother’s delivery was conducted under the supervision of professional doctors and nurses, and no serious complications occurred during the process. Hospital officials added that both the mother and the babies are currently housed in the Beebee Fatima al-Zahra Provincial Hospital and are being kept under continuous medical observation to ensure their health status remains stable. The Nangarhar Public Health Directorate assures that it will further strengthen its efforts in maternal and child health care.
