KABUL: The Afghanistan futsal team showcased their strength in their second match of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup today, defeating Malaysia 7-0 in Indonesia. This impressive victory has secured their advancement to the next stage of the tournament. In this match, goals were scored by Sayed Hossein Mosavi, Farzad Mahmoudi, Sayed Mojtaba Hosseini, Mohammad Moradi, Reza Hosseinpour, Jawad Safiri, and Omid Qanbari, highlighting the team’s superior performance. The Afghanistan futsal team will face Iran in their final group match on Sunday. The AFC Futsal Asian Cup is currently being held in Jakarta, Indonesia, with 16 teams participating.
