Roof collapse claimed lives of seven members of family in Nangarhar

JALALABAD: Local Taliban officials in Nangarhar have reported that seven members of a family lost their lives due to the collapse of a house roof. Quraidhi Badloon, the director of Information and Culture for the Taliban in Nangarhar, stated that the incident occurred on Wednesday night in the Ghochko area of the seventh district of Jalalabad. One other person was injured in the incident, and women and children are among the victims. The cause of the roof collapse is not yet known, but Taliban officials mentioned that recent rainfalls have resulted in over 60 deaths across 15 provinces.
