KABUL: Sayed Naseem Sadat, spokesperson for the Afghanistan Cricket Board, has announced efforts to send former fast bowler Shapoor Zadran to India for medical treatment. Sadat stated that they are in the process of obtaining a visa for Zadran and arrangements will be made in the coming days. The head coach of the under-19 Afghan team, Raees Ahmadzai, previously mentioned that Zadran is experiencing a decrease in his white blood cell count. Many Afghans have expressed their concern for Zadran’s health and have offered prayers for his recovery. Cricket analysts have urged the cricket board to take swift action to ensure his medical treatment.
